JORJA SMITH
Null Studios handled the visual effects for Jorja Smith’s “The Way I Love You”, working in collaboration with production company Swords and Eagles and director KC Locke. We ran a team of talented artists that built a fully VFX-driven drifting sequence using green screen footage of a stationary car — every driving shot in the video, from wide exteriors to in-car moments, was crafted through compositing, CG environments, and stylised effects to simulate high-speed motion and dynamic energy, despite no real drifting taking place on set.
We also recreated the legendary UK garage venue Club Niche entirely in CG, using stylised 3D modelling to capture the gritty texture and iconic atmosphere of the original space. The result is a visually rich world that merges nostalgia with surreal cinematic flair — perfectly tuned to the tone and rhythm of the track.
